Willow Tree Highlands began when Holly & Ivy were given as a Christmas present 3 years ago. It all started with a love story between the Farmer who lived next door and Sam who was developing Willow Tree Farm into a successful accommodation business.

What started as neighbours flourished into a love of all things animal, scenery, sunsets and Highland Cows!

Once the girls were at Willow, Sam decided a Highland Bull was needed so there could be Highland Cow babies. The following year a Bull appeared as a birthday present!

Last October our very first Highland baby was born, Nelly. Then in November along came Noel. The farmers started walking Noel and Nelly so guests could enjoy them. On Christmas Day 2024 Noel and Nelly were walked down to Sam with tinsel around their neck.

This is where it was clear how adorable they were and what a wonderful and unique experience it was to have them come for a walk. In January 2025 Sam launched the new Highland Cow Experience and there has been no looking back.

Thousands of people have visited with the Highland Gang, hand feeding the adults and walking and cuddling the babies Noel and Nelly. It has brought joy to so many lives, including ours watching how happy and excited people are to arrive.
